March is the month that we celebrate Women’s History and the contributions that women have made to our country. So now is also a great time to celebrate our organization and some of the women who represent our own history and spirit.
Margit Jackson of St. Claire's Shore, Michigan wears the crown as one of AFWA's longest members. She joined AFWA (then known as ASWA) as a newly graduated working woman in 1965.

AFWA's Denver Chapter is the recipient of the 2018 Chapter Achievement Award for Scholarship. The Chapter was selected for this award not only for the amount of scholarships they distribute, but also for the established relationships they maintain with local colleges and universities.
